February Flowers!

The beginning of February marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox! Despite the freezing temperatures, the sunlight is getting longer and stronger, and it is more than welcomed. But that doesn’t mean we all don’t need a little color in our lives… and Valentine’s Day, love it or hate it, is just three weeks away! If you are planning to celebrate, order early and avoid the last minute rush.

Humble Bee’s special seasonal selection of blooms is ready to help you send well wishes, celebrate winter birthdays, and of course, spoil your loved ones, galentines and palentines. Regionally grown flowers are accented by flowers and foliage from California and Florida. Nothing against red roses, but those aren’t really available on our continent in February!

Hours of Operation for the coming weeks:

January 27-31, February 2-9

Shop open by chance, or place an order for delivery or pickup.

I am generally at the shop during the following hours, but do step out for deliveries, errands, etc, so a quick text message is a great idea if you know you want to come by and grab something (207-536-9184). In stormy weather, I may choose to work from my home office but can meet you at the shop if roads are clear.

Monday: 12-4

Tuesday - Friday: 10-5

Saturday: 11-2

Need to pick up slightly outside those hours? Just let me know in advance!

For the week of Valentine’s, the shop will be open set hours from Tuesday to Saturday:

February 10 - 12 - Shop Open 10-5

February 13 - Shop Open 10-6

February 14 - Shop Open 9-6 - Happy Valentine’s Day!

I will likely be closed Sunday and Monday for rest and restocking!
